Short story competition

It was a hot and sunny summer’s day as Emma and her family sailed out of the harbor.

When Emma was sleeping the sea started to dry. Emma’s family started to scream because the captain was sleeping. The captain woke up and saw a tsunami. He was scared and didn’t know what to do.

The captain with a loud voice said, ”Don’t worry friends. It’s just a small wave.” However, Emma’s family knew that he was lying. Her father decided to take over the wheel and go to nearby Iceland but her mother said that it wasn’t an actual tsunami and that he was overreacting.

Suddenly Emma woke up and realized that it had just been a scary dream. She was so relieved!

Emmas holiday

It was a hot and sunny summer’s day as Emma and her family sailed out of the harbour.

It was very good trip,we coming the harbour we go to home and make things.Then we can go to lemnos and the ship was axiejend and Emma’s dad run for help.Then the was ok and keep going the trip.

After morning they arrived to lemnos and go to a hotel and stay 10 days.When they finished the holiday left and after morning arrived the Athens.

Dear Mr. Johnson,

Yes I agree we must arrange a new time

It was a difficult weekend because of the rain.

I would prefer to have practice on Friday after school.

It is more convenient for me and I think Sunday

will be harder for everyone to stay for the practice

because most of us will probably have plans.

I also believe that it is a great idea to start training

two times a week because we must be prepared.

About the food you want to buy, I prefer energy

drinks and healthy snacks.

Orpheus Descending

Summary:

Orpheus was the son of Calliope, the Muse of poetry, and King Oeagus, Thrace’s king. Apollo, the god of music and light, gave to the little child the chance of playing such as good music as he plays. And that was just the beginning of the story. He helped the Argonauts when they arrived near the island of the Sirens, where they got hypnotized by them. He was in the stuff in all the trip, when they finally took the Golden Fleece from the Colchis’ king, Pelias.

When he returned to Thrace, he loved Eurydice and he married her. But in the party after the wedding, a snake bit Eurydice and killed her. Orpheus travelled into the underworld to bring her back to life, but if he wanted to manage that, he had  not to look her until they go into the upperworld. And he didn’t manage that. After that, he was so disappointed, that he never played again a happy music. When he died, he went into the stars, and we can see him till today.

My favourite sport

My favourite sport is basketball. There are five players in a basketball team. We can play basketball with a spacial ball and a basket team. I can play basketball realley well. Look at me i’m playng basketball horray

Yesterday, we talked and learned about past habits, using “used to”, “would” and past simple. After that, we did an exercice about a song, called “We used to wait” and I liked that the most.

holiday destination

If you are looking for a holiday destination in Greece I’ve got the answer for you. If you want to be busy all the time go to Chania, Crete. The clean sandy beaches are crystal blue, you can find 5-star hotels right next to the beach. The Euphoria Resort is a 5-star hotel with big luxury rooms with a view of the beach and the beautiful sunsets. It has an outdoor pool, a spa, a gym, yoga classes, and the highlight of it, a Waterpark where you can spend your free time.

There are many activities you can do in Chania. You can go Paragliding which is one of the most popular activities there but it is a little expensive. Other activities are Stand up Paddling, Surfing, Sea Kayaking, All-inclusive Jeep Tour, Mountain bike, Canoeing, and Hiking. I recommend Paragliding because it’s a lifetime experience that you are not going to forget. That’s where I’m going this summer it’s my dreamy holiday and I recommend you go there too!

Dephi

Delphi is a slightly unorthodox accommodation choice but not a bad one. This small town, famous for its oracles and the large archeological site offers all kinds of accommodation, usually more budget-friendly than nearby Arachova. It has a lot of cafés and taverns but doesn’t have any ski-related shops or rentals. Also, you will need a car to get to the ski center from Delphi. If you are not that much of a skier and don’t want to spend all weekend hiking the slopes of Mount Parnassus by staying in Delphi you can visit Arachova as well. Plan it around the first Sunday of the month (winter only) and you can get free entrance to the archeological site too !!

favourite destination

my favourite holiday destination is mexico. i just love the people,the weather,the food and the culture.Every time i land in cancun or puerto vallarta,i am so happy to be back.Its the same when i land back in las palmas.

Sudney and Japan are also very firm favourite.i spent many weeks in both countries and loved every minute of it. Seeing the Sudney opera house of the first time was an remarkable experience and going up the cable car in full view of mount fuji was breathing.

Hobbies 🌈😜

Having a hobby is good 🙂. You can do many sports and hobbies that make you happy 😁. You can meet new people and you can make friends 👭. You can also have a healthy body. Hobbies are relaxing such as drawing 🎨 , playing board games, doing puzzles 🧩 and so many others. Other sports activities are football ⚽, basketball 🏀, etc . I hope 🍀 I helped you ☺️. Drawing 🌈⭐🎨🖌️

My favorite hobby is drawing 🎨. I love drawing ❤️. You must have pencils ✏️, rubbers 🗑️, colored pencils 🖍️ and colored markers 🌈 . I love drawing because I find it relaxing 😁 , creative ⭐ and fun 😂. I will tell you now how to play when you draw✏️. The 3 color challenge 🔴🟠🟡. In this game, you close your eyes and take 3 colors. After this, you must draw something with these colors 😃. You can also close your eyes 👀 and try to draw something 😜.

Extreme weather conditions

The start of 2020 found Australia amid its worst-ever bushfire season. It was the hottest year which left soil and fuels exceptionally dry. The fires have burned more than 10 million hectares, killed at least 28 people, razed entire communities to the ground, taken the homes of thousands of families, and left millions of people affected by a hazardous smoke haze. More than a billion native animals have been killed, and some species and ecosystems may never recover!
