In our English lesson today we played games in breakout rooms. Our teacher gave a word to one team. The team had to spell it wrong. The  other team had to spell it right. It was a fun game!

Waterfall: Man’ Katca

Hi Nick,

how are you? I feel so nice because the previous Sunday we went to the waterfall Man’ Katca(that means “furious flesh”). It’s an amazing place near to Mantamados(Lesvos Island) and it’s 30 kilometres north of the town Mytilene. According to local legend a beautiful girl who lived there, seduced some lads and threw them into the waterfall. The place is now a natural attraction. You can do there jumping from the highest point of waterfall and then you can do kayak on the calm waters in front of the waterfall or you can enjoy the place and admire the plants, the waterfall, the trees etc. What’s your favorite natural place Nick? Do you like the Waterfall “Man’ Katca”?

Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a well-known and mysterious landmark un England.The ancient stone circle is around 5000 years old.

WHY WAS IT BUILT?

Some people believe it was a place to warship the sun,but no one knows for sure.

HOW WAS IT BUILT?

Archeologists who have studied Stonehenge believe the huge stones were from over 30 kilometres away.No one knows how they carried them there.THAT’ S A MYSTERY,TOO!!

Colour is very important to artists.They use colours to Express a feeling  or to create an atmosphere. Artists mix the colours on their palettes until find the colour they want.The three colours are red,yellow and blue.You can mix the primary colours to make the secondary colours are orange,purple and green.

The River Acherontas

Hi Kostas                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            I ‘ve just got back from Acherontas in Greece.It’s a river in Ipeiros and it’s one of the most beatifull places in my country.Acherontas lenght is about 52 km and its basin size is about 705 km.In Acherontas there is a lot of things you can do.You can do rafting,flyinf fox,horse riding and boating.If you do boating you can see the amazing blue coour of Acherontas and many dragonflies. so one thing to say is friday is the perfect day of my life. intially we had our words nice and we did well, we saw them after our exercises and we did some exercises like a student and he even made us play the best game ok bye now😍😘🥰

E-mail 🏖️

Hi Ann how are you? I hope you are well because today I want to tell you about my holidays at Podaras. I had fun not only because I was with my cousins and my family but for the wonderful natural beauty, too. Podaras is an excellent choice for holidays.  The water is very cold but the seabed is beautiful. Outside of the sea it is a little bar and the people there are very polite and friendly with  us. I can’t wait to see  you and your family next summer!

I am really sorry to hear that you have exam stress. Don’t worry so much I have some advice for you. If I were you, I would take up a sport or a hobby. This will mean that your mind will forget the exams. Another idea is to play in your neighbourhood. If you do this, you won’t have time to have exam stress. I hope everything turns ok. Keep me posted I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
