Stand still photo review mission is here!

Welcome to our third Houses of KEDU 2 Mission 3

Mission goal

In 2020, the National Portrait Gallery in the United Kingdom hosted a project called Stand Still. 
It took place during first lockdown in Britain and portrays the atmosphere of the pandemic lockdown. The photos were selected by a panel of judges. The top 100 decorate places around the UK and the main criterion was how iconic of the pandemic can be. Each photo is accompanied by a vignette ( a short text that explains why and how it was shot). These vignettes is the main aim of the project.

Our project will be the following:
Imagine you are the final selection judge. Look at all these photos and their vignettes and decide which three will be nominated for the three final places, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Then decide the order and justify your decisions in 100 words per choice.

 

Entry rules

This mission is open to all members of KEDU English School. To enter, go to “https://www.npg.org.uk/hold-still/ “, choose three photo’s and write why you chose each entry. You have to give the links to each photo and a summary of your decision. Use the title “Mission: StandStill2021″.
